PHotoEspaña 2019 brings three exhibitions to Zaragoza:

‘Weaving Identities’ by Taiwanese artist Hou I –Ting and ‘The Last Ones. Portraits and Testimonies from the Spanish Civil War’ by Luis Areñas at the Centro de Historias; and ‘Repose and Dizziness’ by the photographer Carmen Calvo at the Pablo Gargallo Museum.

And for the fans of the photojournalism,La Lonja Palace shows ‘Creators of conscience. 40 committed photographers ’.

Zaragoza is plenty of museums and monuments but this month we recommend you to visit:

The Infanta Courtyard, a must-see building for the beauty of its Renaissance courtyard and for the wonderful exhibition hosted in it, ‘Julio Romero de Torres. Painter of Souls’.

The Goya Museum- Ibercaja Collection with its excellent permanent collection, the complete series of Goya’s engravings, and the exhibition ‘The Journey of Ferdinand VII. From Valençay to Madrid’.

The Caixa Forum Zaragoza exhibition hall with ‘Art and Myth. The Gods in the Prado’ and ‘Poetics of emotion’.

If you want to know the 2000 years of our history, we invite you to follow the Caesarugusta Route (Forum Museum, River Port Museum, Public Baths Museum, Caesaraugusta Theater Museum), visit beautiful Renaissance palaces, follow the steps of the Aragonese genious Francisco de Goya in the town, fascinate yourself with the vestiges of Mudéjar Art and much more.

The classical music waits you in the Caesaraugusta Forum Museum until 30th August , in the Forum Music Festival; and on the terrace of the IAACC Pablo Serrano, you could enjoy the best of the alternative music thanks to the series of concerts, Live the Roof.
