Summer is here, we can already see terraces full of people, locals and tourists. With warm weather, instead of hiding inside bars and restaurants, what we really like is to be outside feeling the sun on our skin 😎.

What if, in addition to relaxing with a nice and cold drink, you could take a look at the city from another perspective? Continue reading and we’ll show you some terraces where you can contemplate Zaragoza from above.

The IAACC Pablo Serrano is a must see for contemporary art lovers. After discovering the most innovative proposals by local artists in the exhibition rooms, go to the roof and admire the amazing views. Some of this museum’s events such as concerts, performances and other activities take place in the rooftop terrace, you can’t miss it.

Another place that allows you to discover a different side of Zaragoza is the cultural and social centre, Caixa Forum. Also, at the top floor, you can find a restaurant where you can rest a little bit between exhibitions.  But, don’t settle for the view of the city from the interior of this cutting-edge building, take a look at the different terraces and enjoy the panoramic views of Zaragoza from different angles.

For a more natural related panoramic view, add to your list the Aquarium of Zaragoza in the Expo 2008 site. The biggest fluvial aquarium in Europe, its roof offers spectacular views of the most contemporary zone in the city and of the Ebro river. Take the best photos of the most emblematic buildings and just unwind in its chill-out rooftop terrace.

There are still more roof terraces around the city where you can take a look at other areas of Zaragoza. The rooftops of hotels Hiberus and Alfonso with incredible views of Tercer Milenio bridge and Coso street, respectively. And if you are looking for some original photos of the most iconic monument in Zaragoza, Pilar Basilica, you can find a good framing from the roof of Los Girasoles Apartments. You can also photograph the Basilica’s beautiful silhouette reflecting on the Ebro river from the Aura restaurant.

If you don’t want to come down from such great heights yet, we encourage you to gaze out the panoramic windows of Puerta Cinegia, the best views of Plaza de España. And, as we tell you in our website, don’t forget all the incredible towers we have in Zaragoza (you can even go up some of them).
