The Three Cultures Medieval Market 2017

Zaragoza hosts from 16 to 18 June 2017 a new edition of the Three Cultures Medieval Market. An intense weekend during which the streets of the historic centre will be stage of the artistic and cultural diversity that celebrates coexistence between Jewish, Muslims and Christians.

Workshops, medieval fights, archery kids, typical food and craft stands are just some of the activities that visitors will find to make them travel to medieval ages.

Divided by zones, you can walk from the Jewish area, located in the Pabostria Street and the arch of Dean, until the Arab souk, situated on the balcony of San Lazaro, passing through the Christian area which occupies San Bruno Square, Palafox Street, Plaza de La Seo, Plaza del Pilar, Don Jaime and the Plaza de La Lonja. 

San Bruno Square will be the Scenario of The three Cultures, meeting point that will bring a sample of the culture of the three zones in an only space: evening shows; Christian, Arab and Jewish music, poetry, dances…

In addition, the associations Sefarad Aragon and Algerians in Aragon will make guided visits to the Jewish quarter (Sunday 18 at 11,30 h.) and the Moorish quarter of Zaragoza (Saturday 17 at 11,30 h.). The departure of guided tours will take place from the Palace of Montemuzo.
